Suzuki Violin/Viola Lessons

Suzuki violin/viola is a method of teaching the complex physical and musical skills that are vital to playing. Physical skills are mastered through repetition masked as playful games and musical skills are learned like a language through listening at home and in lessons. Suzuki violin/viola is ideal for young, beginner students (ages 3-6) or students who have already embarked on their Suzuki journey.

Classical Violin/Viola Lessons

Classical violin/viola (traditional method) is for students who are looking to learn violin/viola, but with a broader approach from the Suzuki method. Materials, skills, and ideas from Suzuki will still be incorporated into lessons, depending on the unique needs of each student. This is ideal for students (ages 7+) who have started learning their instrument in school, with another teacher, or who already have a strong technical base.

Christine’s intermediate and advanced classical students hold leading positions in their school orchestras and regional youth orchestras, successfully audition for Districts/SEMBSA, and have gone on to pursue music at a collegiate level.
