Teaching Philosophy

As a teacher, Christine believes in a holistic approach to learning music. Her teaching philosophy is strongly influenced by traditional music in Ireland, Suzuki Pedagogy, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and free improvisation. Lessons are uniquely crafted to the interests and learning style of the student.

Christine currently teaches private students in Irish traditional fiddle, Suzuki violin/viola, traditional violin/viola, and music composition. She is well versed in teaching young beginners, weaving together a strong classical foundation with their first Irish traditional fiddle tunes.
